Springs Chess Club was founded on 12 July 2018 by JP Wagner and SW Pienaar at the NG Church in 47 Botha Street, Geduld Extension. We are affiliated to Ekurhuleni Chess and the club participate in Ekurhuleni tournaments all year round. Although no professional coaching is provided to members of the club, our Senior players of a variety of styles will gladly help you develop your game. Chess is not to only fun to play but also have other advantages. When playing chess, your brain will be challenged to exercise logic, develop pattern recognition, make decisions both visually and analytically, and test your memory. Chess can be enjoyed by any age—as a result, these brain exercises can be part of the health of your brain for your entire life! New members are very welcome, we are always looking for new members of all standards to join the club so please join us any Thursday from 18h00 to 20h00 for both Junior and Senior players
